Working with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to refresh their stock image library

If you were to ask people about the images that came to mind when Basingstoke was mentioned, I expect many would think of office blocks, shops, roundabouts, industrial and housing estates set within a thriving town.

However, if you ‘row back’ just a few miles from the town centre, there is a diverse range of landmarks, open spaces, activities and destinations for people to explore and enjoy; all set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Hampshire is known as Jane Austen country. Famous novels such as Pride & Prejudice were drafted from her home in Steventon, just 7 miles from Basingstoke, but a world away in many ways.

David Hogg gives talk to Godalming Photographic Club on Panorama Photography

Earlier this week, our Director, David Hogg, gave an evening-long talk on the topic of Panorama Photography at Godalming Photographic Club in Surrey. The content of the talk was designed to introduce members to the concept of image stitching, and covered its range of powerful applications including gigapixel panoramas, spherical panoramas and virtual tours – as well as simply being able to capture wider vistas and taller skyscrapers when on holiday!

Promotional video produced for Albert Edward masonic lodge as a reminder of their Ladies Festival

Last month Horizon Imaging was commissioned to film a charity dinner for the Albert Edward masonic lodge based in Camberley, Surrey. The event took place at the Runnymede-on-Thames hotel in Surrey, and it consisted of informal drinks, a 3-course dinner, congratulatory speeches and a chance for the guests to let their hair down at the end with a live DJ / singer!

Virtual Tours produced for The Stay Club’s Willesden and Camden student accommodation facilities in London

Earlier in the year, Horizon Imaging was commissioned to produce two virtual tours for London-based student accommodation firm, The Stay Club. As part of a complete redevelopment of their website, The Stay Club wanted to incorporate virtual tours to allow their website visitors to explore The Stay Club’s facilities from the comfort of their computers / mobile devices at their leisure.

The Stay Club own several sites across London, and they wanted to start with tours of their Camden and Willesden sites which are shown here.
