Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take a set of background images to use behind computer-generated views from the top of a new shopping centre in the heart of Oxford which is currently under construction.

Despite the spate of wet, cloudy and windy days over the last few weeks – well it is the height of summer here in the UK (!) – Horizon Imaging recently photographed this beautiful farm in the heart of the South Downs National Park near Loxwood, West Sussex.

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take some aerial photographs of a new housing development in Scaynes Hill, near Haywards Heath, West Sussex for luxury homebuilder Denton Group. Due to the proximity of the site to a nearby road, both our telescopic mast and our drone were used to take the required aerial photographs.

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take a set of ground-based and aerial photographs of a garden landscaping project by leading Surrey and Hampshire Landscape Architects, Graduate Landscapes. The brief was to try and capture the beauty and scale of their latest project from a completely new perspective, and what better platform to use for this task than our radio-controlled drone?

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take another set of aerial photographs of the beautiful wedding venue ‘Coverwood Lakes’ in Ewhurst, Surrey, which had been especially adorned with a fantastic double tipi for a forthcoming wedding reception. Horizon Imaging had previously undertaken similar aerial photography work for Coverwood Lakes back in August 2014, and they invited us back again this month to take a set of updated photographs.

After another recent near-miss between a drone and an airliner at Heathrow airport (and a similar incident at Warsaw airport a few days earlier), the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority have issued a strict reminder to all drone users that they have to obey the rules of the airspace they are flying in.

Horizon Imaging was recently contacted by a homeowner in Epsom, Surrey, who was keen to determine where the best views of the surrounding landscape were to be found in their garden – not from ground level, but from first and second-floor level! The homeowner’s plan was to identify the points in their garden which gave the best views, and then construct their new house around those views.

Horizon Imaging is proud to announce the launch of a brand new service – 4K aerial video taken from a radio-controlled drone. Using the very latest drone and camera technology, we can now offer stunning, fully-stabilised 4K aerial video which has 4 times the resolution of typical ‘HD’ video.

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take a set of aerial and ground photographs of a number of car showrooms in West Sussex and London for the owners, 4Front Motor Group. Due to the proximity of the showrooms to busy main roads and built-up areas, we opted to use our telescopic mast to take the aerial photographs instead of our drone. A number of aerial photographs were taken at the 4 sites that we photographed – two of which are shown on the right. Ground photographs were also taken amongst the parked cars and in the showrooms.

Horizon Imaging was recently contacted by the owner of a local mobile home park, who commissioned us to take an updated aerial photograph of their site. The last photograph was taken some 10 years ago from a light aircraft, but we would be taking the updated photograph using our radio-controlled drone.
