Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take some mast aerial photographs to support a planning complaint against a building extension in London.


Apparently the wrong type of roofing tile was used during the construction of the extension, and there was concern from the local planning office that the building would look out of place in its surroundings.

Horizon Imaging photographs housing development from the air near Chichester Harbour, Hampshire

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take some aerial photographs to show how close a new housing development is to the sea-front in the pretty coastal village of Prinsted, Hampshire. Whilst the sea cannot easily be seen from the site itself, the developer, Junnell Homes, were keen to illustrate that the development was within easy walking distance of the harbour – and what better way to do this than with a drone aerial photograph!

Man fined total of £2400 and banned from owning a drone for two years after flying over football stadiums

A recent news story has highlighted the need for any and every drone operator to ‘think before they fly’ as a drone pilot from Manchester gets handed a £1800 fine (and £600 in costs) and a two-year ban on ‘purchasing, owning or using’ a drone.
